I've been so tired lately, it is really becoming concerning. I need to see what is up. It is almost like I'm prego, but I'm not. I have no energy and could fall asleep anytime I sit down. The solution...don't sit down. I cut up 4 squash earlier, and pulled two more off the vines. I also found another that I set aside the other day and sent it to the L's. I pulled half a bag of cherry tomatoes today and 3 large red tomatoes. This year is certainly a learing experience. What to do...what not to do.
~Create successful planting earlier.
~Plant more corn by planting the same row width, but closer together and more rows and stagger them.
~Build or buy better tomatoe cages. The cheap wire ones SUCK and are horrible for the tomatoes, I've lost 2 plants and snap braches trying to pick tomatoes.
~Plant Tomatoe plants in a row, not so close together. They are killing one another.
~3 zuch plants and 3 squash plants
~ONLY ONE PUMPKIN PLANT PERIOD and not in the garden, put in another area.
~Potato bags....6 of them (one to pops)
~3 cucumber plants, so I can pickle
~TONS OF bean plants, skip the peas..it isn't worth it.
~Skip the carrots it isn't worth it.
~Broccoli and cauliflower
~more spinach, more to eat fresh and more to can.
So far..that's it, that's what I've learned. I'm waiting to see how my kidney beans turn out. I will plan on planting a LOT of them if they come out good, along with pinto, lima, great northern and navy.
I will also start fishing in early spring to put down fish in the hole for my plants.
Well I need to go get the kitchen worked on and hopefully finished, I'm sure that I won't finish completely finish it as I'm detailing every inch that I can.
Toodles...Katy
